Soroti Cricket Academy (SCA) actively hosts and participates in a variety of annual competitions designed to develop young talent, promote competitive cricket, and provide a structured pathway to professional cricket. These tournaments cater to different age groups and skill levels, ranging from school cricket to high-performance leagues.

Annual Competitions and Tournaments

SCA Girls T20 League

Eligibility: Open to academy-registered female players

Girls and Boys Residential Camps

Eligibility: Selected boys and girls from academy programs

Soroti Schools Cricket Week Qualifiers

  • Schools compete for a spot in the National Schools Cricket Week

National Girls and Boys Schools Cricket Week

  • Eligibility: Open to primary schools in the region

SCA 50 Overs League

Eligibility: Open to academy players

Boys Under-17 School League

Eligibility: Boys under 17 from participating schools

Indatwa Queens (Rwanda) Tour to Soroti

Period: September
Participants: SCA Girls Team and visiting Rwandan team

  • An international cricket exchange between SCA and Rwanda’s Indatwa Queens

  • Provides players with cross-border experience and exposure to international competition

High-Performance Holiday Coaching

Period: November – December
Eligibility: Academy’s best-performing players

  • An elite training camp preparing players for national and international selections
