Soroti Cricket Academy (SCA) is a powerhouse in Ugandan cricket, fielding three competitive teams two women’s teams and one men’s team that participate in Uganda’s National League. These teams not only excel in top-tier competitions but also serve as a vital pathway for young cricketers to develop their skills and represent Uganda at national and international levels. Women’s Teams

Soroti City C.C Women

Established in 2018, Soroti City C.C Women is the flagship women’s team at SCA. Known for its dominance in the national league, the team has consistently produced players who represent Uganda on the international stage. The team combines experienced players with emerging talents, creating a perfect blend of skill and leadership.

Historical Performance

Since its inception, Soroti City C.C Women has been a dominant force in Ugandan cricket. The team has won back-to-back T20 titles in 2023 and 2024, solidifying its reputation as one of the best women’s cricket teams in the country.

Olila Cricket Club

Established in 2019, Olila Cricket Club has consistently been among the top contenders in Uganda’s National League. Known for its competitive spirit, the team has finished as runners-up in multiple seasons and has produced several players who have gone on to represent Uganda.

Historical Performance

Olila Cricket Club has been a consistent performer, finishing as runners-up in 2023 and 2024. The team has also reached the semifinals of the 2022 National T20 Championship, showcasing its ability to compete at the highest level.

Established in 2020, the Soroti C.C. Men team competes at the highest level of Uganda’s domestic cricket. The team blends experienced players with emerging young talents, making it a formidable force in the national league.

Historical Performance

The Soroti C.C. Men have steadily improved since their establishment, reaching the semifinals of the 2024 National League ODI tournament. The team has also contributed players to the Uganda U-19 Men’s Team, showcasing its role in developing young talent.
